You can add protection for loss or damage when you book. If something happens, file a claim on the claims page within 7 days of scheduled delivery. You will need your order number, tracking number, proof of value, photos of the bag and gear, and a repair or replacement estimate.
Usually yes. Drop-off costs less, and the shipping options page shows how much less before you pay. Pickup is door-to-door if you would rather not drive to a carrier.
